As I've written before (see my post called "Submission To Public 'School' Authorities"), I go to a "public school." And I've quite recently begun to see the [public] "school system" as very evil, corrupt, and dehumanizing.
It is a system that attempts to destroy individuality and independence, through having its "students" sit and follow orders eight hours a day while learning things they usually don't want to (slavery, essentially).
Talking is usually forbidden, usually only allowed during the "recess" periods (also called "nutrition" and "lunch"), which, at my "school," amount to only 45 minutes each day. Talking, walking ("students" are forbidden from *gasp* standing up without permission!?!), resting, and doing things other than listening to the person called a "teacher" (not an indication of truth in what they say) and performing mindless "work." And of course this "work" is also mandatory even at home!
I'm 14 years old, and yet I'm supposed to listen to the arbitrary ordinances of some random person called a "teacher," lest I be punished (coercion). And if I do "good" (HA! WHAT A HORRIBLE TERM TO DESCRIBE MINDLESS ORDER FOLLOWING!), I'm "rewarded."
And you have to do all this slavery for 13 years of your life? Evil.
God willing, this year at school (8th grade) will be my last. May God be merciful and allow me to avoid another 4 fucking years of this evil!
"The system is only designed to educate you! They need silence and submission to teach!"
Can't you learn things other ways than being a slave? Well, the answer is yes. And much of the stuff they "teach" isn't even true (at least as far as I see, but that's obvious, 'cause you're reading this on my blog...), such as: the "theory of evolution," the "big bang theory," "germ theory," spherical Earth and "space," etc. Not to mention the government-bias in "history class." "Ah yes, the wonderful and wise 'founding fathers!'" "The 'constitution' is great and the United States government is great!" "The United States is the 'LAND OF THE FREE!'" Brainwashing.
